Who we are

The Inclusion Advisory Team (IAT) provides specialist support from advisory teachers and experienced SEN professionals for Early Years and all Key Stages.

 

The team consists of advisory teachers who specialise in supporting schools and settings to enable the successful inclusion of children and young people with SEND and to achieve the best possible outcomes for children, young people and their families.

 

What we do

The team consists of Advisory Inclusion Teachers who can support schools across a range of areas including:

  • Advice and strategic support for SEND
  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH)
  • Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
  • Core Curriculum Support 

Our Advisory Teachers include:

  • Inclusion Advisory Teachers who can offer support and guidance for your SENCO and assist in the development of policies, guidelines and practice to support the inclusion of children with SEND
  • Speech, Language and Communication Needs Advisory Teachers who can offer advice on identification and screening tools for SLCN and individual referrals for SLCN
  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs Advisory Teachers who can offer SEMH referrals, support and advice.
