Barnet's 2019 SEND conference was held on 20 June 2019. This was a free conference for Barnet parents, carers and professionals that was jointly organised by education, health, social care and representatives of the Barnet SEND parent community.

The contract with NELFT commenced on the 1 September 2018, there has been a planned mapping and period of restructure through to 1 July 2019. The therapy service has offered “business as usual” during this time.

The Barnet ‘My Support Plan' is a template for children and young people identified at SEN Support. It forms part of an exemplar framework and reflects the four-stage cycle of Assess – Plan – Do – Review. It involves parents and the child or young person at the earliest stage with a person-centred planning component in the form of a one page profile.
