For Young People (YPs)

Are you Autistic (diagnosed or self-identified)?

Are you between the age of 14 and 19 and live in Barnet?

Would you like to take part in a 9 session mentoring programme with an Autistic mentor?

The sessions are held online weekly during term time. The aim of the sessions is:

  • To connect and talk to Autistic adults who model authentic Autistic behaviour, promote reasonable boundaries, self-care and being kind to yourself.
  • To gently educate a young person on Autistic experience at their own pace.
  • To be part of a small online Autistic community: The first 30 minutes of each session is a social group where we have structured social time with other young Autistic people and Autistic mentors. Then you will discuss Autistic Experience with your Autistic mentors.

There is limited availability & unfortunately we can’t guarantee a space. If you are interested then please contact: [email protected] with the subject line "Autistic Peer Mentoring Project"

This course is held in conjunction with Aucademy
