The local area is committed to improving pathways and services for children, young people and families. We work closely with Barnet Parent Carer Forum to ensure that the voices of parents and young people are heard; if you would like to be involved in any of the plans below please contact Barnet Parent Carer Forum.

Sustainability and Transformation Plan

The health and care system across North Central London (NCL) - clinical commissioning groups, local authorities and NHS providers - are working together to develop an NCL-wide sustainability and transformation plan (STP). This will set out how local health and care services will transform and become sustainable over the next five years. Barnet is part of North Central London Partners for Health and Care; check out their website for up-to-date information on the local STP, which includes health and care closer to home, cancer and maternity.

Transforming Care Partnership

We are committed to transforming care and improving services for children and adults with a learning disability and/or autism who display behaviour that challenges, or those with a mental health condition. The transforming care partnership outlines how we aim to improve these services.

Public Health Nursing Transformation programme (April 2018 - March 2020)

Barnet commissioners and Central London Community Healthcare have embarked on a transformation programme to improve the offer from health visitors, school nurses and the infant feeding peer supporters to the children and young people in Barnet.  This work is essential to ensure the healthy child programme is delivered for families and is being done alongside a stakeholder and staff engagement group, as well as seeking views from parents, carers and young people.
