CICS Group - Cochlear Implanted Children’s Support Group
Description of activity

CICS is an independent, voluntary group run by parents whose children have cochlear implants to help others whose children already have implants and those who are considering cochlear implantation for their child whether unilateral, simultaneous or sequential bilateral.

There’s a great deal of information on the internet about cochlear implants. It can be confusing and not all of it is accurate. Our experience tells us what will be helpful for families involved in the cochlear implant world and our website offers you important but simple information about cochlear implants and how the CICS Group can help, and gives links to many helpful organisations.
