Description
The course provides a summary of the needs of pupils with Down syndrome and key issues in their education.
Please attend if you are new to Down syndrome and want a good introduction to the needs of pupils and how to meet those needs in the early years and school context.
We will summarise the specific learning approach of pupils who have Down syndrome and focus on teaching methods that are appropriate for their specific needs. We will cover practical ideas and present a good background by the end of the morning.
The training is suitable for Heads of Inclusion, SENCOs, class teachers, TAs and LSAs. Parents are also welcome to attend.

Parents are not charged and need to have a booked place.
For Schools: Admission costs of £95 for one, £150 for two from the same school. If you send three members of staff you only need pay for two!
